Katrin Wiehle likes tea, pencils and foxes. She lives in the U.S.A. with her husband and their cat and has worked as a freelance illustrator since 2009. She received the Talented Young Artist’s Prize from the German Academy for Children’s and Youth Literature in 2011 for her picture book debut, “Professor Pfeffers tierisches Abendteuer”. Additionally, her nature book, Mein kleiner Wald My Little Forest was awarded most beautiful book by Stiftung Buchkunst in Germany.
